Here’s a beautiful hand-shaped EPS Pendoflex 8′8 Panther that’s at Patagonia Cardiff.

All of the Pendoflex boards are hand-shaped and built with care. All of the Pendoflex boards at Patagonia are glassed with epoxy resin.
The Panther has a 2.2lb EPS foam core. The bottom is glassed with 6oz cloth, with an additional 4oz fiberglass patch from the tail forward. The deck has a 6oz S cloth and 6oz E cloth full length with double lap wraps around the rails, with an additional 4oz cloth patch almost to center.
In short, it’s light, responsive and is built to last.

Actually we just paint the boards here, I have a shaping room about a mile from home, and glass them at Diamond Glassing. We stopped in the see the new OB Surf and Skate and to say Hello recently.
